Placing Skips

It is important to consider the location where you place your skips. Make sure it is in a safe and accessible location. The skip should be placed in an area where it will not cause any damage to the surroundings, such as pavements or lamp posts.

Weight Allowances

We require that all skips have weight allowances. It is important to note that all skips have a maximum weight allowance. In the case where the skip is exceeded, an extra allowance charge will be applied. It is therefore essential to make sure that the skip is not overloaded.

Our 12 yard skip has a maximum weight allowance of 5 tonnes.

Information on Bin Bags

We do not accept plastic bags and bin liners in our skips. This is because they can cause damage to our skip loading machinery. We, however, accept rubble sacks and skip bags.

Waste Present

It is important to note that customers must present the waste in the skip they hired. This ensures that the skip is only filled with acceptable waste materials. We do not accept hazardous waste such as asbestos, chemicals and fluorescent tubes in our skips.

Customers are advised to avoid overfilling the skip as it may result in the skip being refused upon collection. Skip overfilling may also result in additional charges.
